Metabolism, Again.

This project reimagines the Nakagin Capsule Tower site with a 140-unit housing block for single residents, translating Kisho Kurokawa’s Metabolist ideals into adaptable, organic forms inspired by ant colonies and plant growth. By sculpting circulation as negative space and enabling customizable units, it creates a flexible, resident-centered prototype for an environmentally responsive urban future.
